*Hats with vents (lattice) will not provide protection to that area.

Love the design and strap. Wish it had a elastic band around the crown. Ordered a medium and its slightly tight but that helps it stay on.

Tula hats are the best! I wore one for years that I got from Barton Springs Nursery in Austin. I wanted another one and I couldn't remember the maker. After searching the internet I remembered immediately when I saw the name "Tula".... You can't appreciate the workmanship that went into this hat until you put one on! If you're in the market for a new hat for the sun, you won't be disappointed. It's light weight, has a comfortable band inside, covers the head and face well and the lattice on the top helps with cooling. With a modicum of care, this hat will last for years.
