*Hats with vents (lattice) will not provide protection to that area.

I recently purchased 3 Tula hats, thinking I’d return any that didn’t look great or feel great. I ended up not being able to return any bc I loved all 3 so much!
They each had a different feel; the Abby to me is “cute” - all about adding cuteness (& practicality) to what you’re wearing. Perfect with any summer outfit or dress.
I don’t step outside in the sun without one of my Tula hats on my head. A few months ago I had two skin cancer spots removed from my face, and I’m taking protecting my skin more seriously now. I love they offer sun protection, have a strong rim that isn’t floppy, has the strap for under your chin so it won’t blow off, and conveniently you can wear the hat on your back when you do remove it.
I’m a Tula fan for life! Looking forward to adding more hats to my new collection!
I love the look of this hat and that it blocks the sun, but it is frayed on the edge after wearing it twice! Too expensive and is not well made.

We're sorry you aren't happy with the quality of your hat! Our hats are hand woven and hand sewed so they may have minor differences between them. You can trim off the bit showing in the photo with a sharp pair of scissors and it should be good as new!
Abby is stylish, flattering and functional. Beautifully made. The brim holds its own and doesn't flap up in the coastal winds. Now if only CA's rainy winter weather would stop, so that I can wear it again!
