from 1594 reviewsMy garden hat has always been Tula. I just replaced my old hat with the Catalina and It looks and feels great.
I’ve worked in the garden/gift industry for over 20 years. Having a highly functional and fashionable hat is a must. I think I own 7 different Tula hats. They’re well made, stylish and comfortable. I highly recommend them to everyone!
I originally saw this hat on someone at a craft fair and immediately knew I had to have it. It’s so adorable on and the wide brim is perfect for keeping the sun off my whole face.
The elastic band on the inside of the hat was a bit snug the first few times I wore it, but it is very comfortable now and the hat fits great. I love it so much.
The Tula Pecos Tan hat is excellent. I wore it fly fishing in North Park, CO on two very gusty days and had no issues as the drawstring is really well designed. Very comfortable and great sun protection.
I like the style. I have always preferred the Gardener. Since you have discontnued sized hat in most of your styles. I have been limited to the two styles with a large enough brim to protect from the Florida sun and heat. The one size fits all band is irritating to wear as it collect sawdusts and dirt and causes skin rashes and irritation.
I always recieve complements whenever I wear my Rio or Sierra. The easy to remember domain name make it easy to refer people to look for themselves.
I typically wear a baseball hat to protect my face from the sun…not a great choice. The Tula Angler hat has been fantastic. I get the shade I need over my entire face….and in style! Am totally hooked on the Angler. Highly recommend.
I ADORE this sun hat more than any I’ve ever owned. It’s chic in a subtle way. Rustic and artful, well made, sturdy. I wear it everyday even just hanging on my back. The leather strap is quality. I feel amazing with it. I also love how it looks hanging on my armoire at home.
I have a larger head and the large/x-large gives me just enough pay I. The hat without it being two big. Love the wide brim too!
Beautiful hat. Very comfortable to wear and I like that it has a strap. I wore it out to a lake a few days ago and it was a little windy. My Abby hat stayed on perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase.
I work outside every day and a sun hat is a must. This is the first hat that keeps me cool and has a wide enough brim to protect my ears and nose. No sunburn yet this summer! All around a great sun hat. Fit was according to the size chart.
My wife and I made a stop at Monticello on an East Coast trip, headed to Hilton Head.
In the gift store the Gardener Lattice caught my eye. I walked over and picked it up, it had a very nice hand and great stitching. The wide brim and ventilation looked appealing. Popped it on my head - felt great and looked great. Glance at the price tag and smile. Under $50 even in a museum gift shop. 😊
Today I visited the web site and love the company story and vision. Keep up the great work!
This is my second summer wearing this hat every day from about May through October since I should be keeping my face out of the sun as much as I can. Here are the reasons I love it:
- It Stays On My Head (I can chase 3 littles all day, rest my head back on a chair, bend down to pick up all the things etc, and not worry about it falling off)
- Style (I wanted something casual enough to go creek stomping in but classy enough to wear with a dress to a wedding. Also, I can store it in the open where it’s easy to grab coming and going bc it might as well be a decorative piece on the wall.)
-Durability (It’s been caught in 3 downpours, stepped on once, and played with. The only change is a slight flattening on one side of the brim from when I just hung it back on the wall after getting soaked in a rainstorm.)
-Bonus, what’s not to love about this company!
This hat makes my life easier, and as a Mom, I really appreciate that.
Several months ago, I was diagnosed with skin cancer. After undergoing surgery to remove the tumor, my dermatologist recommended that I get some hats to wear that protected my face from further sun damage. A few years ago, I purchased the Tula Explorer while on vacation. I love that hat, but I wanted different styles and colors to wear as a hat will not be a permanent part of my life. I have since purchased the Clark, the Gardener, the Durango and the Pecos Light. All of them are wonderful. The last hat I purchased was the Mesa. Like all my others, the Mesa is amazing. But what sets it apart is the weave. It is much tighter and more elegant looking. The brim is wider than my other hats, which provides more coverage from the sun. I really like the Mesa. It looks like a very expensive hat, and I know it will give me many years of good service.
Thank you, Tula, for making such fine hats. I am now waiting for a L/LX in the Brazos.
I've been wearing their hats for many years and love them. The Sierra is my pick. Put this together with great customer service and life is good!
