I’ve been wearing a Tula hat for two years now. I went through a couple of “palm hats” previously for protection against the sun while on the water. After my dad passed away, I went through his closet and found his “fishing hat” (a Tula) which he wore for two seasons. It sat in a closet for three years and is finally in use again. Absolutely hands down the best woven hat I’ve ever worn. The wide brim gives excellent protection and the look isn’t too shoddy, either. The other palm hats I’ve owned seemed to have bigger pieces used in the weave. This Tula hat is excellent and still giving good service. I’m sure my dad would approve of me wearing this one out (which will eventually happen) and recommend my buying another (which I will do without hesitation.) Thanks for a great product.

I'm not a new customer, as I've order quite a few hats (the Lifeguard, the Gardner, the Rancher) as gifts after I found my original Ladies Rancher style at a boutique gardening store in Oakland, California in 2001. This hat has been my favorite hat for 10 years. I wear every day all summer long; on twice-daily dog walks, in my garden, and pretty much whenever I'm outdoors - I even pack it in my suitcase when we vacation in Hawaii. I'm a fair-skinned redhead so face, neck, and hair protection is required. I also have a somewhat small head, so the shorter crown and smaller scale of the Rancher style fits me perfectly. I receive regular compliments and have turned many folks onto Tula hats.
I'm amazed but sad to report that after 10 faithful years, my Tula hat has finally begun to fall apart at the seams. The palm has become brittle and the stitches just can't hold. So here I am on your site to order my second Rancher which will no doubt last me another 10 years.
Thank you for making not only a beautiful product, but also a well made and extremely durable one. Honestly, I can't believe this hat has only just begun to deteriorate with its regular and rigorous wear. That's real value.
